SuperMasao is a free web action game developed by Naoto Fukuda in 1998. He released the game library “Masao Construction” in 2001, and many Masao website showed up after that. The program was written in Java, but it became that has not been working due to Java security update. Since 2014, Ryo has started developing SuperMasao for HTML5 Canvas, written in Javascript. Now the “Canvas Masao” is in common usage.

スーパー正男は福田直人氏によって開発された無料Webアクションゲームです。 2001年に「正男コンストラクション」が発表されて以降、沢山の正男サイトが登場しました。 当時プログラムはJavaで書かれていましたが、Javaのセキュリティーアップデートに伴い正男が起動できなくなってしまいました。 しかし2014年、Ryo氏によってHTML5 Canvas向けにJavascriptへ移植された正男が登場し、以後その「Canvas正男」が広く使われています。
